Background
The Statistical Office will undertake a Labour Force Survey (LFS) in 2019. This survey collects information from persons in randomly selected households across St Vincent and the Grenadines.
The Labour Force Survey is carried out every two years and is used to measure the state of the labour market of St Vincent and the Grenadines. Survey data is used, among other things, to calculate the national employment and unemployment rates. The survey results are also used to make important decisions regarding job creation, education and training, retirement pensions and income support.
All information collected through the survey will be kept in strict confidence.
