REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

(CONSULTING SERVICES– INDIVIDUAL SELECTION)

HUMAN DEVELOPMENT SERVICE DELIVERY PROJECT

Assignments:  INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANTS FOR THE LABOUR FORCE SURVEY

 

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Human Development Service Delivery (HDSD) Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the following consulting services (“the Services”):

·         Field Supervisors for the Labour Force Survey

·         Enumerators for the Labour Force Survey

The Economic Planning Division within the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning, and Information Technology, now invites eligible Individual Consultants to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide the following information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and experience:

·         The Field Supervisors must possess five (5) CXC/CSEC passes (including English); previous training by the Statistical Office at a Supervisors’ workshop, and on the use of relevant survey instruments and equipment; experience in conducting at least two (2) similar assignments in a supervisory capacity; experience in conducting household survey interviews; working knowledge of the geography of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

·         The Enumerators must possess three (3) CXC/CSEC passes (including English); experience in conducting at least one (1) similar household survey interviews; previous training and or experience in the use of survey instruments and equipment; working knowledge of conducting labour market surveys or other surveys similar to the assignment; working knowledge of the geography of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

Individual Consultants will be selected in accordance with the Open Competitive Selection of Individual Consultants method set out in the Procurement Regulations. Further information can be obtained at the address below during the office hours of 9:00am to 3:30pm.
