National Accounts

Description

National Accounts is a statistical procedure, which aims at providing a numerical summary of the many transactions taking place in the economy of St. Vincent and the Grenadines during a given period of time, usually one year. Gross Domestic Product (GDP) measure the value of goods and services produced in St Vincent and the Grenadines over a period of time, usually one year. It is one of the main indicators of economic performance. The Statistical Office (SO) produces and publishes annual and quarterly GDP estimates in line with agreed international standards set out in the System of National Accounts (SNA) 2008.
